CUSTOMER: Teknics, for an automotive supplier in Germany. Daniel, as a subcontracted programmer, before founding Robify.
CONTEXT: 5 stations: injection moulding machine unloading, clipping, welding of sound-insulating foams, extraction and rework entry. 3 KUKA robots.
CHALLENGE: Automatic mode logic: alternating left/right pallets, handling empty pallets when only one side is produced, selective rework (clips only, or clips and foams) and its impact on downstream machines.
SCOPE: Programming lead and hands-on programmer for the 3 Siemens PLCs, with a team of programmers. Safety between PLCs via PROFINET I-Device.
TECHNOLOGY: Siemens S7-1500 Safety PLC in TIA Portal, PROFINET I-Device
